Another world exclusive - the first time that a pair of experimental Pranksky anaglyph paintings have been hung side by side - now in MoMa - New York and yesterday we had the opportunity to capture them together at the private view. These two Soho dudes seemed to be the centre of attraction - the first 'human guinea pigs' to volunteer to be exposed to the dangerous Pranksky 3D 'anaglyph memory paintings'. According to one of the senior gallery curators, when these are viewed through special glasses, the resulting image is fused permanently into the visual cortex of the brain, providing a 'permanent' 3D memory of a celebrity. MoMA is cautiously inviting members of the public to view the paintings, as the artist has intended, but only if they agree to sign an official disclaimer...according to the small print in their leaflet...'the celebrity images can stay permanently imprinted in a person's memory for up to 5 years!'
